Double rakes are used in double knitting which creates a much thicker fabric with the same stitch on the front and back of the knitting.  In other words, there is no knit and purl sides.  Our double rakes can also be used as a traditional single rake even though it won't have our unique pin system like the rest of our looms.

The Compact double rake has our turned pegs and will produce a little skinnier stitch than the Classic Double rake with our regular peg configuration.
